Postal Brews is a quaint coffee shop and eatery located in the old Utopia Post office building. The menu includes chicken fried steak, lamb sliders, burgers, and it well written up for it’s pies. This small town café is located right in the center of Utopia. This quiet, scenic course served as the inspiration for a book which then became a movie, “Seven Days in Utopia”, starring Robert Duvall. Utopia Golf is a 9-hole golf course located right near your treehouse. Bear’s Den offers beer/wine, Robert’s delectable BBQ, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, small plates, and apps. Owned by Laurel Waters and her mother, Wanda, Main Street has been a direct importer of country antiques from France since the year 2000. Main Street Utopia is a charming little store in the heart of Utopia. Diners can bring their own wine to accompany their meal, as Utopia is dry. Classically trained in France, Laurel’s menus are always a nice marriage of her Texas roots and French inspiration. Diners are encouraged to spend time walking around the back yard and garden before, during, or after the meal. Reservations are a must as Laurel never turns over a table, and the restaurant sells out every weekend. If it is not grown on the property, she hand selects every ingredient and never has food delivered. Chef and Owner, Laurel Waters, changes the fresh and seasonal menu every Saturday. The Laurel Tree offers lunch and dinner of Saturdays only.
